    LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER, INTERNATIONAL QEEG BOARD CERTIFIED QUANTITATIVE ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM DIPLOMAT, BCIA BOARD CERTIFIED IN NEUROFEEDBACK

    Kristin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky, a BCIA Neurofeedback mentor and a Kentucky Board Certified Clinical Social Work supervisor. Additionally, Kristin is one of the few BCIA Board Certified Nuerofeedback providers, demonstrating her exceptional expertise and leadership in her field.

    After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, she obtained a Master of Social Work from Indiana University with a concentration in School Social Work. Following graduation, Kristin moved to Colorado where she became board certified in Neurofeedback Therapy.

    Kristin is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which are frequently used as a foundation for clinical work. She is also certified to treat Juvenile Sexualized Behaviors.

    Kristin is passionate in implementing a holistic approach to feeling healthy, which includes brain-based strategies in conjunction with the traditional therapeutic approaches. She strongly believes with a flexible, wrap around approach, the best change can occur.

  • Sierra Hancock, CSW, BCN

    CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

    Sierra is a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Kentucky and Board Certified in Neurofeedback. She works with individuals across different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. Sierra offers guidance and support to those seeking to improve their coping skills, address past or present experiences, prioritize self-care, manage mental health concerns, or navigate LGBTQ+ issues.

    Recognizing that each person is unique, she adapts her approach to meet you at your current stage of readiness. Her therapeutic approach consists of a range of evidence-based techniques, including QEEG-based Neurofeedback training, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.

    LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR ASSOCIATE

    ‍ ‍Grace is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky. With nursing experience spanning across all age groups and various concerns. Her counseling background includes working with adults who have experienced acquired or traumatic brain injuries. She supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, memory issues, and trauma.

    ‍Grace is passionate about supporting clients managing chronic illnesses, healthcare professionals, and caregivers of all kinds. Believing that each person is the true expert in their own life, her approach is centered on collaboration, mutual respect, and empowerment. With the goal to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported in exploring new coping strategies and avenues for growth.

    Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is committed to ongoing professional development and is currently pursuing board certification in Neurofeedback.

    ‍With her combined nursing and counseling background, Grace strives to promote holistic well-being by considering the interconnectedness of physical health, mental health, and the broader life context of each client.

    CARE COORDINATOR

    Maria is a Computer Science Professional and has worked in the healthcare industry for six years. After receiving her degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Louisville, she started her career as a data analyst, dedicated to providing the best healthcare plan for each individual. Recently, she and her family have opened a non-profit community center that provides a safe space for those struggling with addiction.  

    Maria has now become our Care Coordinator at Kentucky Neurofeedback and Counseling. She helps the team with scheduling and all administrative needs - chances are you’ve spoken with her on the phone or via email. She is also trained in trauma-informed care and commits herself to providing safe and supportive environments for all. Maria is passionate about therapy and behavioral health and looks forward to helping others start their therapy journey!
